I am a Bio-medical researcher, crazy foodie, travel enthusiast and a slightly atypical military wife..This blog is mostly about food and stories from my life associated with food. But will keep it open to other stories in the future.

When I started writing this blog, I wanted to share the new recipes I was trying in my kitchen and also wanted to archive some traditional recipes that were passed on through the elder women in the family. There are always those recipes that you associate with memories of someone who would cook them, and sometimes those recipes are lost through generations. I thought I should start archiving some of those recipes for my own future reference, for my relatives who would share those food memories and for everyone else who would like to experience these traditional recipes. With this in mind, I am starting the Family Recipes Project and will be trying and archiving all those ‘speciality’ recipes from my family and friends.
